General questions
How much does piano tuning cost?
A standard tuning for a piano that is close to pitch falls in the usual Denver metro range; a piano needing a pitch raise takes longer and costs more. We quote the exact price on the phone once we know the instrument and when it was last serviced.
How long does a tuning take?
Plan on 60 to 90 minutes for a standard tuning. A pitch raise plus fine tuning typically runs two hours or more.
Do you service both uprights and grands?
Yes. We work on spinets, consoles, studio uprights, baby grands, concert grands, and both pneumatic and electronic player systems.
Should the room be quiet during tuning?
Yes, please. Tuning is largely an aural process, so a quiet room and no vacuuming or barking dogs makes for a better result.
Do you charge for travel within the service area?
Arvada and immediately neighbouring communities carry no travel charge. Longer trips within the Denver metro area may include a modest fee, always quoted in advance.
Can you repair a piano that has been in storage?
Usually yes, though storage pianos need a full inspection first. Damp storage causes rust and mould that must be assessed before tuning is worthwhile.

Card, check and cash are all accepted at the time of service.
